What happens to a woman when her inner masculine is dominant?

Everyone has both masculine and feminine energies within them, regardless of their gender identification.

The inner masculine is often associated with qualities such as assertiveness, independence, and action-oriented behaviour. When a woman's inner masculine energy is dominant, it may manifest in a few different ways:

  • Increased competitiveness: The woman may feel a strong urge to be the best, to win at all costs, and to prove her abilities to herself and others.

  • Difficulty with vulnerability: The woman may have a hard time expressing her emotions, asking for help, or admitting to her weaknesses. She may find it hard to form honest friendships.

  • A focus on achievement: The woman may place a high value on achieving goals and hitting targets, sometimes at the expense of her own well-being or that of her team.

  • Struggle with intimacy: The woman may have difficulty forming close relationships or connecting with others on a deep emotional level.

  • A tendency to prioritise logic over intuition: The woman may rely heavily on logic and reason in her decision-making, sometimes at the expense of her intuition or the emotions of others.

It's important to note that there is nothing inherently wrong with having a dominant inner masculine energy as a woman.

However, if it becomes imbalanced or is suppressing the expression of the inner feminine, it can lead to stress, burnout, and a lack of fulfilment in both her personal and professional life. There are ways to identify when things are out of balance and also beautiful ways for a woman to come to a place where she recognises and respects her inner feminine as being as strong and wise as her inner masculine, just in a different way.
